--Pikes peak has definitely been the most eeriely calm place I have ever traveled to. Up at the top, the oxygen level was so low it felt like the air was sucked out of you. This compination of being awestrucked by the view and lack of oxygen overall felt lethal at that moment. I also had the chance to ride the royal gorge (a scenic train) around these mountains. passing through the abandoned mines and old shelter unit that protected workers from storms made me wonder what these mountains have seen..

--The scenery in Colorado Spring is to die for!! I felt super jealous of the homes here. They practically have a creek in their backyards! --Down in Denver, I visited the loveliest japanese restaurant ever. I still think about their salmon bowl ever so often

--My visit to the Garden of The God was brief, but one didn't had to double look to understand its glory. These red mountains stick out of the city like a sacred monument, distinct compare to its surroundings. I haven't look into the scientific reasonings behind their formations but I might enjoy the mythical explaination more. --Rocky Mountain national park was breathtaking(from both the views to the amount of walking that went into it LOL). It was a mistake to go during June... I slipped once from the snow and mud. ouchh
